Welcome to the virtual Nantwich Canal Centre (at last I’ve got around to doing it!). I hope that you will find it easy to use, interesting, useful & good way to find out who we are, what we do and how we do it (and in some cases – how much it costs!)

Sheila & I, took over the derelict Basin End site in 1994, using the name that the marina had been known as when British Waterways ran their hire fleet from Nantwich, but which had been closed down some 2 years previously. So, 15 years ago, ‘Nantwich Canal Centre Limited’ was born. We, and most of our customers just call it ‘NCC’.

Over the year’s, we have tried to build a really good, independent canal service centre, with everything that the boater or inland waterways enthusiast would need & appreciate. At the same time, we have also tried to establish a business that is not seasonal, so our staff are kept as busy in the depths of winter as they are in the hectic summer season.

Don’t let all the different buttons in the navigation bar put you off though. In trying to make this site simple – it looks a bit complicated. Have a look, see what you think, and if you think it could be improved – keep it to yourself (just joking – email me).
